Hello and welcome to Cascara! We're a fairly new pirate role play site! We aim to keep this a fun and friendly place to escape reality and have fun and make great friends! We'd appreciate it if you read the rules carefully before role playing. If there's any questions please don't hesitate to ask a staff member or anyone on this site.

- The most important rule of this site is to treat everyone with respect. Cascara is meant to be a drama-free place, so please keep it that way (:
- Please avoid the use of "chat speak" because 1t$ r3lly hrd 2 und3rstnd.
- One account only! You do not need to create a new account for every character you have. This helps avoid abandoned accounts and will not show how many active users the site has.
- If you are going to be leaving for a bit or taking some time off, please let everyone know in the leaving board. This will let those who you are rping with know that they may not expect a response right away as well as the staff know to not delete your account for being inactive for some time.
- Any graphics or images that stretch the boards will be deleted if they are not re-sized. Please do not ruin our pretty boards with oversized pictures!
- Credit! Please give credit where it is deserved. Credit your pictures, templates, signatures, avatars, etc, anything that isn't your's.
- And have fun!

. . . . role playing
- There is no word count limit on Cascara. This site is for role player's of all levels, but try to push your writing!
- God-modding is allowed to a certain extent...We are encouraging creativity, just do not take it overboard and always consult the other member(s) you are rping with.
- Power playing is acceptable, but like God-modding, the other member agrees to it. If there are any issues with power playing please bring it up to the admins if it cannot be solved peacefully.
- There is no character limit! Create as many pirates, commoners, soldiers as you want!
- There is not a board for pets, but if you wish for your character to have one, include them in the character biography.
- Time. You can control time however you may like! You can choose not to age your character, to age your character, fast forward in time, go back in time.... just keep it somewhat realistic please.
- Proper spelling is highly recommended. There's a spell check for your own personal use. However, we all make mistakes, so don't worry too much about a few typos.
- 1st person v. 3rd person. Both are acceptable, but 3rd is preferred.

. . . . pirates, commoners and soldiers
- Your characters do not need to be accepted before you can role play them. You can start as soon as you finish their profile!
- We do suggest that you claim a face. If you haven't claimed a face and someone else uses your face, it is perfectly acceptable. You can also reserve a face for a future character.
- Please create a separate thread for each new character. Use a character log to store all of your threads, characters, etc. in one place.
